Description: Jesus Christ Superstar is a sung-through rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Loosely based on the Gospels’ accounts of the Passion, an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’. A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for decades.
Cautions: Plan to Arrive Early. Due to the unique staging of the show, for actor and patron safety, late seating and reseating will be extremely limited – wait times to enter the Theatre could be up to 25 minutes if you are late or leave the performance. May not be suitable for children under 13 years old. Parental guidance is advised for the “implied violence” and there is also a warning for people who may be sensitive to lights. Description: A prequel to Pamela Parker’s Second Samuel, A Higher Place in Heaven is set in 1925, on the front porch of New Hope, the home of Miss Madison. She and her longtime friend and servant, Miss Simpson, live a quiet life just outside the town of Second Samuel with their sons Frisky and US, who are more often found at the fishing pond than in the schoolhouse. When Son and his wife Billie Augusta visit, he finds a document that would forever change the history of New Hope and its residents’ lives. Filled with laughter and tears, anger and forgiveness, this touching story is one that speaks to divisions that we still struggle with today. It also shows that, no matter our differences, love and grace can bring people together and keep New Hope alive.

Description: We Will Rock You is a jukebox musical based on the songs of British rock band Queen with a book by Ben Elton. The musical tells the story of a globalized future without musical instruments. A handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, fight against the all-powerful Globalsoft company and its boss, the Killer Queen; they fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of the age of rock. Scaramouche and Galileo, two young outsiders, cannot come to terms with the bleak conformist reality. They join the Bohemians and embark on the search to find the unlimited power of freedom, love and Rock!

Description: The story reflects life in New York during the 1930s in pre-World War II days. Brighton Beach Memoirs focuses the fictional Jerome family of Brooklyn, a poor, working class extended Jewish family trying to make ends meet during the Depression. It features the famous Neil Simon humor that arises from family drama and crisis. It tells of a teenager finding his way through puberty, a cousin who aspires to perform on Broadway and a mother whose advice to her sister is: “Stay on your side of the street, that’s what gutters are for,” when her sister admits to going into a neighboring home.
