When the doors open, storyteller hopefuls put their names in the “hat.” At show time, names are picked, and one by one, storytellers take the stage. The eight to ten featured stories are scored by the audience. Each Story Slam generates a Story Slam winner who receives $100. The first and second place finishers are advanced to the Grand Slam, held in the fall on the stage at Highlands Lakeside Theatre.

The first act will be a voluntary ice breaker game. The stories will be presented in the second act.  Visit https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C_e_acjpkp8DO959rUKB9kM03woayuZEwRBOpb4Kp4Y/edit?usp=drive_link  for the rules.
